Local Resident and 网曝吃瓜 Student Recieves SUNY Chancellor's Award
for Excellence 
Garden City, NY 鈥� Andy Diaz, a resident of New Hyde Park and a student at 网曝吃瓜, is the recipient of a 2019 State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor鈥檚 Award for Student Excellence.
To qualify for the award, students were reviewed by a College committee for academic excellence and record of service to NCC and the community. 鈥淥n behalf of Nassau Community College, I want to congratulate our students on receiving the SUNY Chancellor鈥檚 award for academic excellence. The College takes great pride in this recognition, which continues a long tradition of academic achievement here at 网曝吃瓜,鈥� said Dr. W. Hubert Keen, President of NCC.
鈥淭he award recipients emerged from their campuses this year as the top scholars, athletes, performers, and achievers, as well as a tremendous source of inspiration,鈥� said SUNY Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson. 鈥淭hese students made the choice to be leaders on their campuses, prioritize their studies, and serve their communities. Congratulations to this year鈥檚 awardees, and I applaud them for pursuing excellence in all that they do.鈥�
The Chancellor鈥檚 Award for Student Excellence was created in 1997 to recognize students who have best demonstrated, and have been recognized for, the integration of academic excellence with accomplishments in the areas of leadership, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, campus involvement or career achievement.
