 厙ぴ勛圖 Theater Department Presents Feydeaus
A Flea in Her Ear

A Flea in Her Ear

A Flea in Her Ear is a timeless comedy in a time where we desperately need to laugh.  We are thrilled to celebrate this hilarious classic with our audiences! said Director and Nassau Community College Professor Michael Mullen

WHO: 厙ぴ勛圖s Theater Department Presents A Flea in Her Ear by Feydeau Translated by David Ives at NCCs Mainstage Theater from October 20th through the 30th. Performances include students from all over Long Island including Babylon, Bethpage, Elmont, Floral Park, Freeport, Hewlett, Island Park, Malverne, Massapequa, Mineola, Rockville Centre, and West Hempstead.

WHAT: Set in Paris in 1900, the play tells the story of life insurance executive Victor Chandebise, who becomes the subject of an elaborate ruse concocted by his wife, Raymonde. She suspects that her husbands sudden lack of passion in the bedroom signifies that he is cheating on her. Together with the help of her best friend, Lucienne, Raymonde writes Victor an anonymous letter, requesting a meeting at the dubious Frisky Puss Hotel. As is the case with stories of mistaken identity, hilarity ensues as Raymonde, Victor, Lucienne and a host of other characters gather at the establishment, everybody wondering what on earth is going on.
